PRAYER
There is a great deal going on right now. Summer camps are just around the corner. Some of the kids will not be able to attendfor various reasons; pray that God will protect them, and that we can stay connected during a time when it's easy for them to slip away. We will have new staff and interns coming in. This means they will need to raise personal support, always a challenging task. We have several new Acts 2 Board members, and a lot of new and exciting opportunities on the horizon. Pray that God would guide the Board and Staff to prayerfully consider how to best move ahead. Pray for Lee Pusha (Pronounced Pushay), our new Executive Director. Pray that God will raise up new volunteers, staff, supporters and prayer warriors for the work that needs to be done in the urban areas of Roanoke. This is a hard place for kids. Pray that God will empower the volunteers and staff to do the work in His power, and leave the results to him. Pray that God will begin softening the hearts, and turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the hearts of the children to their parents. We know that God is moved by the prayers of His people. Nothing is more important than this. More than anything else we need prayer warriors to rise up and begin praying for the urban areas of Roanoke. Pray that God will raise up Churches in Roanoke with a burden for racial reconciliation, who are ready to dedicate time and resources to this purpose. More to come…

EQUIPMENT
Computer(s) Although we have several computers, they are quite old and not able to run the software we use. We are in great need of several new computers, or at least only slightly used. This need is causing staff to spend much more time than necessary to accomplish administrative tasks and it is taking time away from time they would spend with the students. Please call if you are able to help in this area.
